Soul Music {Sneak Peek}

This weeks digital scrapbooking releases from SuzyQ Scraps are for all the music lovers out there! Whether you play an instrument, sing, or just have music coursing through your soul, you’ll find something to help you tell the stories about those special times when music touches your life.

Home Sweet Home

Growing up as an Air Force brat, we moved around a lot, so it was difficult to call any one place “home” — home is where the Air Force sends you, right? And of course, wherever your family is! Even after my dad took his last assignment and my parents bought a house, it didn’t feel permanent. Within a few years I was on my way to college.

And college brought a lot of moving as well. Each year (sometimes semester) found me in a new location. After college I stayed put for just a couple of years. Then I got married and we moved three times in two years. Every move has just been temporary, and when it feels temporary, it’s hard (at least for me) to really connect to people and let myself get comfy. Such is the life of a renter.

But last week we bought a home — a place to call our very own for years to come. I find myself thinking about all the memories will make and the friendships we’ll share and it gives me a cozy peaceful feeling. Like we’re no longer wanderers — that now we really and truly belong.

Play Date | Farmer’s Market

The new digital scrapbooking products SuzyQ Scraps released for the Farmer’s Market are all fabulous. The Stash Builders Cardstock has every hue you’ll need and will come in handy for those time when a kit doesn’t have the solid color your looking for! Suzy’s new Happy Alpha coordinates with Sunshine – a kit everyone should have! Where the Heart Is has the same colors as Home Sweet Home, which has been in Suzy’s store for awhile. Lastly, you can never go wrong with the Oospie-Doodle series, and Borders 3 has some super cute borders that will be the perfect finishing touch for your next layout.
