What Is Hybrid?
Hybrid scrapbooking is a combination of digital scrapbooking and traditional paper scrapbooking. You can read a good explanation from Jessica Sprague — What Is “Hybrid” Scrapbooking? Hybrid can be as simple as scrapbooking layouts using digital and traditional elements and papers and type. A lot of hybrid projects are physical albums, boxes, cards, etc. created using digital and traditional items.
WHY WOULD I WANT TO DO HYBRID?
Here are a few reasons you may want to try hybrid, in no particular order:
1. I am addicted to paper scrapbooking supplies.
2. I don’t want to give up my hands-on outlet.
3. I have tons of paper scrapbooking goodies in my stash.
4. I’d like to create fun albums for vacations and other events.
5. I’d like to make some homemade gifts for others.
