What Is Digi Scrapping?
WHAT IS DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING?
In the most basic sense, digital scrapbooking is scrapbooking with your computer — using digital images and computer programs to preserve your memories.
WHY WOULD I WANT TO SWITCH TO DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING?
Some people really enjoy the art of paper scrapbooking, and I think that’s great. But if you haven’t enjoyed the paper version of scrapbooking, maybe you should give digital a try.
6 reasons why I love digital scrapbooking:
1. Digital photos — I have a digital camera and I don’t want to print all my pictures
2. NO MESS! When you’re finished, you just close the program — nothing to clean up; have just a few spare minutes — all of your supplies are at your fingertips with the click of a mouse
3. Versatility — I can recolor & resize anything ![]()
4. CTRL-Z — I make mistakes ALL the time — I’m so glad I can undo or redo without wasting expensive scrapbook supplies — and I don’t have to reprint a photo if I don’t like how I cropped it
5. Always enough Z’s — Alphabet stickers are awesome — except, I always had to buy more packs, just so I had enough of some letters — with digital, you can use your elements and papers over and over … and over again!
6. Photo Editing — If you use a program like Photoshop Elements to design your scrapbook pages, you’ll have a whole array of opportunities open to edit your photos and make them better — a must for a totally amateur photographer like myself
