PRINTING LAYOUTS
Now that you’ve designed a few (or maybe several!) scrapbook layouts, you may be ready to print. First, you have to decide which size you want. I always create my layouts at 12×12, but I prefer to print 8×8 because I like the shorter albums, and it’s more economical. But if you like 12×12, that’s fine too!
I don’t have a quality color printer, and I don’t won’t to be bothered with trimming my layouts, so I choose not to print at home. But printing at home is definitely an option, especially if you like the 8.5×11 size (which is how I paper scrapped nearly all my albums before I went digital).
If you’re looking for great quality, Scrapbook Pictures is a good choice. However, they no longer offer a flat shipping rate, so I don’t typically order through them anymore.
I recently switched to Persnickety Prints because their quality is excellent, their rates are affordable, AND they offer a standard shipping rate. I live in the middle-of-nowhere, so I need a place that can ship my pictures and layouts to me.
Costco is another popular option — and definitely worth looking into if you have one nearby.
