Its another Wednesday! And I know I haven’t posted in a while, had a real experience of both my internet connections & laptop being crappy.. Anyone miss me? LOL! But, enough about me. The spotlight is now on our CT Leader, sweet Miss Ellie..

Miss Ellie, aka Ellie80 in the digi scrapping world is the ‘fairy godmother to all of you who submits LO pages using SuzyQ products. She is the QT behind SQ Scrappers posts, the one who grants your $10-worth-of-SuzyQ-products wish. LOL! Want to get to know her? Then this is your chance.

1. Tell us something about you, and your family? Are you studying, working, married, with children, where you are from, etc.

~ I’m 28, married for 6 years with 2 children (Caitlyn age 3 & Zachary 20mths) & we live in a small town where I was born on the south east coast of England. I’m currently a stay at home Mummy but may be returning to work part time in September 2010

2. What/Who introduced you to digi scrapping? How did you started doing digi?

~ When I was pregnant with Zach I started paper scrapping, but nearer the time of his due date it was basically my scrapping desk in our bedroom or his cot – we didn’t have room for both! Needless to say my desk & supplies were put away. I stumbled upon digi scrapping by chance! It was a search engine that lead me to a site called ScrapGirls and the rest as they is history!!!

3. How long have you been scrapping/digi scrapping?

~ I was only paper scrapping for about 6 mths but I’ve been digi scrapping since January 2008

4. Favorite elements you like to put on your page; Favorite color/s to work on; Favorite style of scrapping (white space, ad type, linear, etc..) techniques you like to do; Favorite SuzyQ kit/s you have used.. Favorite project you have done (scrapping related)

~ Favourite elements…hmmm…I love string (although I don’t always know how to use it LOL I also love buttons. As for colours that’s a tough one…because I have a boy & girl I can scrap with pretty much anything but I suppose my favourites are blue, brown, pink, deep yellow (not necessarily in the same kit though LOL). As for my scrapping style, I find white space very easy but clustering harder – I’m trying to cluster more on my pages at the moment to make them more interesting. I love working on my shadows – I try to get them looking as real as possible – sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t LOL but love shadowing string & flowers as I can customize them more happy My favourite SuzyQ kit…now that is tough!! Do I really have to pick just one???? Well then I suppose it would be ‘In The Farmyard’. It has some cute lil’ animals in it & I love the colours which leads me onto ONE of my favourite pages which is this:

5. Can you show us your favorite layout you have done using Suzy’s product; First digi layout you’ve done.

~ My first did LO? Wow that’s embarrasing LOL I can’t even remember what it was!! One of my first page with credits *blush* was this:

6. Ever want to also design someday? Who is/are your favorite designer(s)?

~ I would like to design but not kits LOL I’m an alpha, wordart & add-on kinda gal. In fact, I’ve just finished making my very first alpha

7. 3 Random facts about you you might want to share.

~ Hmmm….

• I had an extra finger when I was born (yeah gross I know) I haven’t got it now though – just a bump on the side of my left hand.
• I was the only girl in my computer course at college – yeah great surrounded by boys – NOT!!!
• I am obsessed with the Twilight Saga books by Stephanie Meyer

~ Oh definitely boxers – especially the tighter ones LMBO

(sorry, couldn’t think of a better title!) But since it is Wednesday today, it is my turn to post on the blog. I decided that I wanted to highlight some of my MOST FAVORITE kits that Suzy has created.

In no particular order, here they are…

Suzy Q’s “Ouch!” kit. Oh my! First of all, I LOVE the color bright green, so of course the colors totally rock! Second, I love the stick figures Suzy drew for this kit. They seriously make me laugh! Not to mention all the other fun elements in there, wordart, stitches, ice pack, a TOOTH! lol, seriously great. And Third, I love the alpha. It is SOOOOO Adorable! All together this kit absolutely rocks! Check it out!

Next up, “In the Farmyard”. SERIOUSLY! Ya know, just when I start thinking Suzy Q can’t get much better (because she totally rocks) She does THIS! This kit is so stinkin’ adorable. There are so many things you can create with this kit, it’s awesome. The animals are so cute! They make me smile everytime I see them. Kinda makes me wish I had a little lamb again! Again, Suzy has rocked the colors. Gives you a real country/in the farmyard feel, and I love it! Just a super kit! Not to mention it’s very versatile!

And ONE MORE (it was incredibly hard to pick JUST THREE!!) UGH!! And I think this is in my top 10 all-time favorite kits in the ENTIRE WORLD (as if anyone is keeping track!) but it is….

SWEET TOOTH…a collab between Suzy Q and Vonnie’s Digi World. Any guesses why it’s my fave?!?

ICE CREAM DUH!!! I so totally love ice cream, so when I saw this kit I was SUPER excited, and I think the duo did a fabulous job with the yummily delicious color scheme and all the elements. Makes me totally want to eat it right up!

Hello! QT Joy here, with my first post to this brand new, shiny, shiny QT blog. And since it is a new blog, that means a lot of different things to discuss, new things to discover..

Sooo, every Wednesday that it’s my turn to post here, I will feature one of my fellow QTs, you will get to know each of us a little . And for today, the limelight is on beautiful Bre.

But, before I go to my featured QT for today, let me remind you again of the QT call Suzy posted a while ago..

Today, you will get to know more about our youngest QT, Bre, aka bre11414 in the digi scrapping world.

1. Tell us something about you, and your family? Are you studying, working, married, with children, etc.
About me…My hubby and I are both from Wyoming. We grew up only 45 miles apart, but didn’t meet until my first year in college. We went to a community college in Rock Springs, Wyoming, where I was attending on a volleyball/academic scholarship. We got married in May after my second semester at college, and moved to Utah where he is attending the local university. I finished my associates degree online from Western Wyoming Community College, then later attended a local tech school for graphic design. DH is studying Psychology, and is taking the year off to work and will hopefully get into the Masters program. I have my own photography/design (wedding announcements, etc.) business, and I also coach volleyball at the local high school in the fall. DH and I don’t have children yet, but we enjoy being the favorite aunt and uncle to 4 nephews (+ 2 on the way) and 3 nieces. hmm…I think that’s all! Anything else you want to know, I’ll be sure to tell you! lol…

2. What/Who introduced you to digi scrapping? How did you started doing digi?
Well, I have always enjoyed scrapbooking, and I would see digi scrapbooking sites and fall in love with the kits, but I am cheap, so I would always go for freebies. But I never knew what to do with them. So I would download a bunch of free kits, and end up just deleting them. It wasn’t until a few months ago that I decided to take the plunge and really learn how to scrapbook. I would look at other people’s LOs and try to copy them, but mine never turned out right, so I decided to just do my own thing. I still use other LOs for inspiration, but I find I always like my own LOs best. I learned about CTs from a girl from my hometown, and decided to look around for CTs. Not expecting to get on any, I applied to about 50, and got accepted into most of them (which was a surprise!). Suzys was actually one of my first CTs, and I felt so lucky that she chose me! happy Ever since I first took the plunge, I’ve fallen in love with it, and have learned that I can use my digi scrapping for my design business as well, so that makes it even better!

3. How long have you been scrapping/digi scrapping?
I’ve been scrapping since I was about 10. I still have loads of scrapbook stuff, lol. But digi is SO MUCH easier (and cleaner! happy and I’ve been doing that since about February of this year.

4. Favorite elements you like to put on your page; Favorite color/s to work on; Favorite style of scrapping (white space, ad type, linear, etc..) techniques you like to do; Favorite kit/s you have used.. Favorite project you have done (scrapping related)
My favorite elements are stitching and frames. Favorite colors….hmm. I really like anything. I usually find a way to make my pictures fit, so any colors are fine with me! Style of scrapping…I don’t really know, lol. I do like white space, but I just do whatever I think works best for my pictures and my mood at the time. I don’t journal as much as I’d like, but I think journaling adds a lot! Techniques…I like photo masks, but don’t use them much..lol, I also like layering elements, while at the same time keeping things straight and simple. Favorite kit I’ve used, that’s a tough one! My fave from SuzyQ is ‘Sweet Tooth’ because I have an obsession with ice cream! happy and the colors in this kit are fabulous! I love all of Suzy’s designs, though, and my other fave designer who has some great kits is Tracie Stroud.

5. Ever want to also design someday?
Well, I actually am a ‘designer’ at Digital Paper Hearts, but I am just designing templates for now, but someday I’d like to design kits. Designers amaze me! You have to be super creative to come up with the things they do, and hopefully someday I’ll be able to do that! happy

6. Favorite layout you have done. First digi layout you’ve done

7. Lastly, random facts about you you might want to share.

Hmmm, I don’t have very good balance. I can’t stand on one foot and balance. I don’t know. There are a lot, but I can never think of them ‘on the spot’. lol..Oh, and I love love LOVE ice cream! happy Mint Chocolate Chip is the best!
