Sometimes you can make in a difference in the storytelling on your scrapbooks layout simply by how you arrange the words or lines of texts.
This is one of my favorite ways to add flow/movement to page or create some visual interest. It also adds power to the story you’re telling and causes the eye to slow down when it’s reading, maybe linger on the page a bit longer, absorb more of the details of the story.
Instead of a paragraph, split up the lines of text.
Arrange the lines of journaling, and let a word strip double as journaling and a title.
Or arrange your journaling into separate lines, and replace a line with a word strip.
Split up a sentence so it fills a space.
Maybe tilt the text to add a bit of playfulness.
Give it a try, and share your page in the comments!
