Challenge Reminder | December 2011

I know everyone has a full plate with the holiday season in full swing, but I just wanted to pop in quickly to remind you about this month’s Blog Challenge Inspired by SuzyQ Scraps! (Keep reading – Today is the 11th day in the 12 Days of Freebies!)

This month Suzy herself is in the spotlight, and you are tasked with scraplifting one of her layouts. You can choose any one you want from Suzy’s Gallery at Scrap Orchard, or use the free template provided in the original challenge post that’s based off this layout:

Remember, Scraplifting is not copying exactly! You can be inspired by one thing in a layout – maybe the colors used, the theme, how the photos are place, or even just a shape used. Here’s an example. I picked Suzy’s page on the left, and was inspired to create the page on the right! I used the same kit, but didn’t HAVE to…it was the best fit. I really liked the scattered tag placement, and the big paint splat!
