Hi! I have been playing with Suzy’s cupcake wrappers, and just had to show you a couple of things I made with them.
Now, I know the temptation when using such simple-to-use, uncomplicated templates like these is to pop on a patterned piece of paper from your favourite kit & go, but it really, really is just as easy to choose an element you love & use it as a repeat pattern on the template too! I chose the sweet ‘n colourful doodly blooms from Bunny Imposters (which is on sale!):

As you can see I made some optional cupcake toppers to go with the wrappers, by printing a single bloom onto thin card, cutting it out & attaching half a cocktail stick/toothpick to the back with sticky tape — for a totally coordinated look!
Included in Suzy’s cupcake wrapper set are mini cupcake wrappers — and I have a really fun suggestion of how to use them for breakfast on the Easter weekend:

Who said breakfast has to be dull & sensible?
To start with, I layered multiple copies of the grass image from Bug Collectin’ onto the mini cupcake wrapper template. After printing out, I snipped a grassy sort of edging to the wrapper with scissors — you could try using scissors with a decorative edge too. Next I printed & cut out the pairs of bunny ears from the Bunny Imposters kit.
Finally I boiled some eggs, & dressed them up as you can see, using simple sticky tape to adhere the wrapper ends together, and a little low tack adhesive to stick the ears in place. A couple of simple dots for eyes using a black pen, and there you are!
…can you imagine how delighted your family will be?
If the bunny ears don’t appeal to you, try a paper crown, a pirate hat or anything silly to simply bring a smile to someone’s face over the breakfast table — any time of the year!

Very cute. Love the idea with the bunny ears !
Stinkin’cute! I’m picturing a chain of Bunny Imposters on a grassy background for Easter cupcakes.
Lovely hybrid projects, love the ears of the bunny impostors over the eggs, they’re fantastic. The cupcake wrappers are very cute as the individual flowers. I’m going to put in my wish list, that kit it’s adorable.
